Orlando Corona

Orlando Corona is a visual artist specializing in painting, printmaking, murals and education for all ages. He found his passion for printmaking in a high school art class, and became captivated by art and now specializes in oil painting and various printmaking. His year in the 2023 class of the Brandon Fellowship program at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts provided a catalyst for his career, with Orlando becoming a full-time artist in 2024. Orlando has a passion for being involved in the community, often working with local non-profits, artists and organizations. Born in 2001 in Guanajuato, Mexico, Orlando moved to Greenville, South Carolina at the age of 10 with his family. He draws deep inspiration from his roots as a first-generation Mexican immigrant, often using his art to share stories, memories and the beauty of his childhood in rural Mexico. His intentions focus around creating artwork that captures personal elements through his unique style, while sharing his culture, telling stories and making fine art everyone can enjoy. He aims to inspire others through his work and be an integral part of his community and the world.
