The Mash Up is more than an arts organization - it's a movement rooted in creativity, culture, and community empowerment. Based in Jackson, Mississippi, we exist to amplify Black and Latine artists, providing the space, resources, and support necessary to thrive in an industry that too often overlooks them. Founded in 2022, The Mash Up emerged as a direct response to systemic barriers that keep independent artists from accessing funding, opportunities, and visibility.
