In Fall 2026, The Helis Foundation John Scott Center will host artist Tina Piracci for a three-session public workshop on Vertical Oyster Gardens—3D-printed clay and oyster shell structures that filter water, provide marine habitats, and strengthen coastal resilience. Free and open to all, the series blends art, ecology, and John T. Scott’s “Pass It On” philosophy, culminating in the installation of VOGs in Greater New Orleans waterways.
