Joanna Underwood

Joanna Underwood grew up in a family of eleven where cooking was both a creative outlet and a necessity, shaping her lifelong relationship to food, land, and community. Since moving to East Tennessee, she has learned traditional foodways from her mother-in-law—preserving, farming, and cooking from the land—with the goal of living more sustainably and sharing these practices through education, storytelling, and community workshops.
