I Was Here, Inc.

"Nation Builders of Broward County" is modeled after our work in Lexington, KY. This includes a public presentation, community engagement workshops, and a public art installation, centered on the power of ancestry. This is a call to memory, a reckoning with history, and an invitation to share a true understanding of America’s past. By situating this work in public space and blending it with dialogue and education, the proposal creates a living archive of heritage, empowerment and healing.
