Since 1975, Augusta Mini Theatre (AMT) has been offering fine arts classes to enrich the educational and ethical development of local youth by fostering critical thinking, social consciousness and personal development through affordable fine arts instruction, performances and workshops. AMT is also the home of a community-created permanent exhibit that commemorates the 1970 Augusta Riot during the Civil Rights Era, serving as a historical and cultural resource within the community.
